Selecting the template of the virtual machine

The template is distributed as an OVF package.

To deploy:

1. Open vSphere Web Client 6.7 in your browser.

2. Right-click on the name of the resource pool or host.
   The Actions menu opens.

3. From the Actions context menu that appears, select Deploy OVF Template....

   

   This launches the deployment wizard.

4. On the 1 Select an OVF template screen, select Local file and click Select Files.

   

   The file selection window opens.

5. In the file browser, select the .ova file containing the Secure DNS Client Node virtual machine template and click Open.

   

   The selected filename will appear next to Local file.

   

6. Click NEXT.

You will proceed to the next step of the wizard.
