Event log

BI.ZONE Secure DNS analyzes all DNS traffic of the protected web application against the TI database of current cyber threats, against domain name blacklists and whitelists, and for the presence of DNS tunnels. The check results reveal malicious activity.

Each DNS query generates a BI.ZONE Secure DNS event. All events are recorded in the event log and displayed as a table on the Event log tab of the Solution’s web interface.

You can filter and sort the event table. Each of these operations is described in detail in the Filtering and sorting data section.

The following elements are located directly above the event table:

Description

Updates the selected period end time to the current time

The Events displayed counter. Shows two values:

  • The number of events currently displayed in the table (minimum—30 events).

  • The total number of events that match the filtering criteria and are available for display

Event table column settings

Resets the table view to initial state:

  • Restores default filtering and sorting settings.

  • Resets the number of events currently displayed in the table back to 30
